New Year = New Changes

This year has came to a quick end!  Maybe it's just me, but this year FLEW by!  I had so much fun with all my clients this year and all the precious memories I was able to capture!  I pray that you are all pleased and I pray that next year, I can continue this journey!

With the new year coming up, I have given photography a lot of thought.  I am making two big changes to QRS Photography:

1.  I am going to work really hard at only scheduling no more than 3 photo shoots/month.  The reason being, I am a full-time working mom, who is adding a few college courses on top of that workload.  So, in order to get edits on a CD in a decent time frame and allow full attention to your photos, I am going to set a limit.  If you would like to request a month to get your session scheduled, please let me know and I will write you down for that month, and when I figure out my husband's schedule, I will let you know what days work.
2. My rates are changing.  The new changes can be found on my Prices/Contact page.  I still consider myself to be a decent rate for what I am offering.  I just pray that you all do too.

So, with a new year, comes new chances and new opportunities!  Please give me a call, text, or email to schedule your photo shoot!  I am looking forward to meeting you!

Two little gals and their precious family

This family is so sweet!  I have gotten to know them a little better through the years b/c we attend the same church.  When they asked me to do photos, I was willing, but it took a while to schedule it.  We finally got together and we grabbed some shots of the girls, their daughter, and then just some of them b/c they are coming up on their 25th anniversary!  So, here you are!!!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Young Love

I was asked a few months back to shoot this wedding.  I will admit- I am NOT a wedding photographer.  I wasn't willing at first, but once she said if I didn't do it, she was going to just have family take photos.  I decided I would b/c I wanted the family to be able to enjoy the wedding and not worry about photos!  I was excited, but BEYOND nervous!  This couple is young, but you can see their love for each other.  They have a great foundation- the Lord.  With Him- you can't fail!

CONGRATS Tori & Colby!

***DISCLAIMER*** I do not claim to be a wedding photographer.

Loved this one of him getting ready!  He was very cooperative for me!

 Love this moment I caught here.  It brings tears to my eyes, b/c one day this will be my baby....
First look at his future bride!  Think he's impressed?!  I would say YES!
Smiles all around!

There are only like a million more to come!  Can't wait to keep editing!

He's Home! {Family Portraits}

Our good friend finally came home from service!  I had the chance to photograph L & her boys during the time he was gone, but they needed some updated photos WITH him.  I was more than happy to capture them!  I love their family.  They are so precious and they are sold out for the Lord! Thanks again guys!  It was fun! (You can see more of their family here & here.)

Mr. C was NOT happy about JD&L kissing.  That is HIS mom!  So sweet.

Seriously- how can you not adore these boys!?!?!

Taylor-Ozark High School {Senior Portraits}

I loved the locations we went to for Taylor's senior photos!  We had a blast.  I love the fall look in some of these!  We went to the Charleston Lake, the skate park, and an alley for these photos.  I love the look in all three!  I hope you are pleased Taylor!  Thanks for the chance to document your senior year!!

Gorgeous!

Had fun with a different edit on this one!

One of my favs from the whole session- STUNNING Taylor!

The Tedfords {Family Portraits}

Once again, I was able to capture the Tedford family!  I adore them all.  We had a good time.  Their kids are so much fun to be around!!  We headed to her parent's land, which was beautiful!  I had the opportunity to meet her parents and her Grandpa!!  Thanks again for the chance to capture your family!

Miss R turns one!

Once again, I had the privilege of capturing Miss R (You can see previous posts here and here.)  This time, it was for her one year portraits!  Let me tell you, she is a doll!  She was so much fun and kept me on my toes.  Wherever Mom wanted her to go, she went the opposite way.....soooo, I just took what I got and capture Miss R being herself!  Whitney- I hope you are pleased!

We decided to do a cake smash.  Usually, these are done in studio.  But, since I don't have one, we opted for a cake smash outside with this adorable antique highchair!  She wasn't fond of the cake, but I still thought it was adorable how she picked at it and offered it to Mom!

And of course, I couldn't help but capture these little feet.  Love the look of the converse with the frilly tutu!

I just love this little man!

My sister asked me to get a few photos of my nephew for his seventh birthday!  OF COURSE I said yes!  He is one of the most handsome little guys I know.  Just look at those big brown eyes.  Girls will be swooning over him if they aren't already!

Such a Blessing {Newborn Portraits}

My good friend Joyce gave birth to a sweet, handsome, precious little boy.  He is such a blessing to not only their family, but also mine and our church family.  He is definately giving me baby fever!  Don't worry though- that won't happen!  Anyways, we had a get together at her house, and I asked if I could give some newborn portraits a try.  I have never attempted to photograph a newborn and now I know why.  It's a bit more difficult then it looks.  But, I feel as thought I got a few that are worthy of posting.

Disclamier- I would not say I am a newborn photographer.  I by no means have the set up, nor the skills.  I am willing to give it a try, but could never promise those precious memories newborn photographers can capture.

Thanks you Joyce and Steven for the opportunity to capture your precious baby boy!

Miss A {Senior Portraits}

Miss A and I had a difficult time getting together.  With my crazy schedule and the CRAZY summer rain & heat, we struggled.  BUT, we were able to get together one Monday night on a last minute deal.  So thankful we were b/c I had a blast.  I always do with seniors.  They just work their stuff and I snap.  I don't tell them how to pose, just tell them to be theirself.  So, here is Miss A.  Thanks!

 One of my favs!  Love the Little Hillbillies playing in the background!
